Experiments
We built the viral bot. Here's what it made.
Every few weeks a post goes viral: someone turned pocket money into a fortune with a trading bot an AI wrote in an afternoon. We stopped arguing with the screenshots and built the bots — then ran them on live market data and wrote down everything.
Read this first. These were paper-trading experiments: live market data, simulated money, no real orders. The figures are from our own run logs and describe what happened in a short window. They are not a forecast, a strategy or advice. Disclosures

Result: +$9.40 on paper
The “$68 into $750,000” arbitrage bot
Fifty live markets, five exchanges, 73 simulated trades in three and a half hours. One coin on one route made all the money — and that route is closed to US customers.

The “I gave an AI $1,000” news-trading machine
It read the headlines every five minutes for a day and a half, considered ten trades, and took none. The most honest thing a trading bot ever did.

Why we do this
The claims travel because they have no numbers attached that you can check. So the rule here is the same as everywhere on this site: every figure has a source and a date. In these pieces the source is our own trade journal, and we publish the unflattering parts.
The pattern so far is not that the bots are badly built. It is that fees, and the time it takes to move money between venues, eat the edge. That is the same arithmetic behind the calculators on this site — the cost you do not see on the first screen decides the outcome.
See it in your own numbers: what a crypto IRA really costs, or what a loss harvest would save.
Tax-season reminders, and nothing else
One short email before each date that costs money to miss: the 31 December harvest cut-off, the week 1099-DA forms arrive, and filing day.
